Gnars is an extension of Nouns dedicated to supporting the artistry of extreme athletes. Since receiving 69 ETH to get started just 7 months ago, they have attracted millions of views on their nounish content, caught the attention of industry icons such as Bob Burnquist, and have been onboarding people in extremely nounish ways. With the proposed 694.20 ETH, they will fund activations such as skateboard production and shipping, existing skate park refurbishments, localised merchandise production, Nouns Vision and Bigshot noggles, fabrication of more giant noggles, and remuneration for contributors. They will also acquire two Nouns of their own, and use funds from their ongoing NFT auctions to bolster their efforts. To onboard more people, they will use Prop House to run mandated funding rounds each season, use hashtags like #ThatsGnarly across all platforms to launch ongoing crowd-sourced social media campaigns, and leverage Revolution protocol to enable the earning of governance rights through contributions other than capital.
