"More Past than Future" is a documentary project that will explore the Muslim village of Kabadio in the Casamansa region of Senegal, a region that has been in a separatist war for over 30 years. The project is led by Daniel Leite, a French-Brazilian filmmaker, and will be funded by Nouns, with proceeds from the film and book going to the village. The project will include a feature film, a making-of short film, a photo book, a football team sponsorship, a photographic exhibition, and entry into film festivals.
