Description

This document describes alebrijes.⌐◨-◨, a Mexican popular craftsmanship cultural preservation platform powered by Nouns. The platform aims to spread the popular art of Mexican Cartoneria worldwide in a nounish style by working with the Linares family, the original creators of alebrijes, to build a collection of unique pieces to be auctioned as NFTs. The funds raised will be used to digitalize the Linares family art archives and create an art book about their craftsmanship and impact on Mexican popular culture, all powered by Nouns. The platform also aims to introduce Nouns to Spanish speakers in LATAM, as Spanish is the second most spoken language worldwide.
